He/Him — Hi, I’m Solomon.
I’m a cinematographer based in Portland, Oregon, and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest.

I’m drawn to stories about people, food, and travel — and I primarily work in the documentary space, where I focus on bringing people-centered stories to light with intention and care.

I have a genuine love for both life and craft. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and collaborate, and I care deeply about contributing in meaningful ways to help creative visions come to life — both my own and those of the people I work with.

Intentionality and honesty guide my work, but so does curiosity. Outside of filmmaking, I love being in nature, trying new food, traveling, and meeting new people.

My goal is simple: to experience the world fully while telling thoughtful stories about people and culture along the way.
